Announcing the CHITAG mini PROTOSPIEL
Playtest. Get Feedback. Make Your Game Better!
For the first time, we're bringing a Mini Protospiel experience to the Chicago Toy & Game Fair! Protospiel events bring game designers together to playtest unpublished games, exchange feedback and help one another make their games better. Designers bring prototypes at all stages of development—from early concepts to nearly finished games—and get them onto the table with other designers and playtesters.
Protospiel events are held in communities around the world, and we're especially fortunate to have a fantastic one right here in Chicago, organized by our friends Maxine and Randy. CHITAG Mini Protospiel is a smaller playtesting experience and is not intended to replace the full Protospiel Chicago event. If you've never attended Protospiel Chicago, we highly recommend it!
CHITAG Mini Protospiel Details
Beginning Saturday afternoon, registered CHITAG Mini Protospiel designers will have dedicated table time to bring a game they're working on, gather players around the table, playtest and get feedback. It's designed to give you a taste of the Protospiel experience while also giving you access to everything happening at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair.
What Does It Cost?
Here's the fun part: There is no additional Mini Protospiel fee! Participating designers purchase regular admission to the Chicago Toy & Game Fair, register in advance for CHITAG Mini Protospiel and agree to share that they will be at Chicago Toy & Game Fair with a customized promo code to share with friends, family, fellow gamers and your social networks. This will help offset the cost of the tables.
Who Should Participate?
If you're working on a board game, card game or other tabletop game and want to get it in front of players, bring it! Table space will be limited, and participating designers will need to register in advance. Final table-session times and details will be announced shortly.
