Job Description: Project Coordinator (PC) w/ China Experience

Position Overview                 This position is for a Project Coordinator with Asian Sourcing and Production experience in the Toy/Game industry.  PC interface with multiple client’s Product Development/Engineering Teams, Customer Compliance, Safety, and Production.  PM will support the Account Manager to capture specifications for products being developed or produced.  The PC will work with Account Manager to quote, source, approve, and manage pre-production steps and approvals throughout the process.  The PC will assist with setting and maintaining project schedules, approvals, updating reports and tracking communications with the Client throughout the product cycle.  PC must excel at:  managing multiple projects with multiple tasks, staying on top of deadline schedules, written and verbal communication, and systems and database entry and tracking.  Flexible hours are a must due to multiple time zones.

Job Requirements

• Coordinate sourcing, samples, database updates on new projects in development

• Maintain and report daily on timelines and schedules

• Track samples from supplier to client and through the approval routing process.  Update all reports and logs on status.

• Track pre-production and 1st production samples and approvals

• Track and maintain control of all approved samples throughout the process

• Assist Product Development and Production Team with gathering and routing specifications for approval before production release

• Communicate with factories, client and internal team

• Track and log all activity on each job from Development through to Production Hand Off

• Flexible work hours, evening communication necessary with foreign factories and Product Greenhouse Asian Team by email and Skype

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (Minimum 2 years in similar support role)

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Read, speak, write and understand the English language

• Read, speak, write and understand Mandarin is a plus

• Detail-oriented individual with analytical analysis skills and ability to problem solve

• Strong time management and prioritization skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically Excel and MS Project (or similar tool)
