TAGIE Young Inventor Winners Duncan and Hayden on Two Bros Bows
We host two events for young inventors. The Young Inventor Challenge at the Fair is for young inventors 6 to 18 with an idea and not in retail. Some of them have gone on to be licensed by toy and game companies. The TAGIE Awards have a category for young inventors that have product being sold in retail. The winner of the Young Inventor TAGIE last November was Duncan and Hayden from Two Bros Bows. They really are brothers and they make safe bows that sell like crazy. I asked them why and how did they get into the Toy and Game industry and they said, "Seeing the movie "Brave" and wanting to earn some money!!" They've certainly done that!

Never give up and all your dreams have meaning.

Duncan: Google docs and google slides. It helps me create amazing projects for school
HOW DO YOU JUMPSTART YOUR CREATIVITY WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF STALLED ON A PROJECT?
Duncan: Surf the web for ideas. Hayden: I get my ideas from my Mom or art teacher and from my thoughts and were my mind takes me.
ARE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?
Duncan: I was named after my mothers maiden name. Her father served in Vietnam and is a deceased veteran.
Hayden: I am named after a veteran who was the only survivor in his 19 platoon. He is alive and well today and would be the same age as my Mother’s deceased father.

One dog name Lexi and a few fish
