MY FAIRY GARDEN®’ is a fairy tale come true for Andrena Baxter, a keen environmentalist from England. It was whilst working as a gardener that she first presented an idea for a collectable range of toys designed to engage children with nature. ‘MY FAIRY GARDEN®’ was launched in 2014 proving an instant commercial success. International licensing and distribution deals soon followed.
The visual design of Block Blast is one of its strongest features. The game uses a retro-inspired pixel art style that combines simplicity with charm. The bunny is cute and expressive, hopping around with little animations that make you smile. At the same time, the traps are designed to look menacing, creating a strong contrast between the innocent protagonist and the harsh world around it.
