What an inspiring spotlight on Alice Brooks — creators who make STEM playful open doors for so many kids. It reminds me how interactive play keeps evolving; my niece is currently obsessed with a rhythm game called Sprunki Phase 16 and it is sneakily teaching her patterns and timing. Toys and games really are powerful learning tools. Thanks for celebrating the inventors shaping how the next generation plays.
Alice's story is incredibly inspiring! It's amazing how receiving a saw instead of a doll sparked a passion that eventually led to MIT, Stanford, and the creation of Roominate. It just goes to show that problem-solving and technical design skills apply to everything—whether you're building physical educational toys or developing secure digital interfaces like a winpkr app login. She is truly a fantastic role model for young girls entering STEM!
