Tonda Bunge Sellers has spent the last 20 years exploring 21st-century learning and entertainment. As a knowledge broker and industry influencer, she infuses her Texas-size passion and entrepreneurial spirit into play. She is currently producing global industry events, Kids@Play and FamilyTech Summit with Living in Digital Times at CES, where she provides a global voice for innovation.
Prior to working with Living in Digital Times, Tonda served as President of Digital Kids Media, which connects a global community of experts to inspire and advance business in the ever-changing world of kids’ digital lives. Tonda created bi-annual conferences that attracted toy industry stakeholders, global entertainment companies and the brightest tech stars including the likes of Google, Mattel, Hasbro, Samsung, LEGO, Wonder Workshop, Sphero, WowWee, littleBits, and so many more.
Over the years, Tonda has written for the Toy Industry’s Genius of Play. She shares digital trends locally and nationally. She serves as a judge to industry events that shine a light on the future generation of kids, tech, and toys: KAPi Awards, Toy of The Year Awards, ChiTag Young Tech Challenge, Young Innovators to Watch and Prix Jeunesse International.
Tonda began her career teaching and quickly moved into education reform with Putting Children First, the Governor’s Business Council and Texas Public Policy Foundation.
Mother to two digital natives who drive her to stay curious and serve as a voice in her community and the industry. She holds a Masters of Education, elementary teachers certificate with an emphasis in early childhood development from Southwest Texas State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in psychology and counseling from East Texas State University.
